Guided Pathway Counseling
Crystal F. Adams, LCPC
As a clinician, I enjoy working with adults struggling with a range of mental health issues, some of which include depression/anxiety, body image, life transitions, stress management, ADHD, trauma, codependency, peer relationships, and issues relevant to the LGBTQA+ population.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Roosevelt University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. I have experience working in community mental health and private practice settings. In addition, I have specialized training in crisis management and issues relevant to LGBTQA+. All of my counseling services are offered through video consultation.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and empowerment- focused. I believe a trusting relationship with an open and compassionate therapist is essential for developing self-awareness, promoting change, and reaching goals. As such, I try to maintain a safe space free of judgement where clients are invited to explore the issues that brought them to therapy.
